10th Annual Sexy Black Awareness Event

Special Needs Kitten Galileo
Join Chicago Cat Rescue as we paint the town BLACK on Saturday, March 10, 2018, for our 10th Annual Sexy Black – a benefit that raises awareness for black cats and dogs.

Shelters and rescue groups across the country collectively experience “Black Cat/Dog Syndrome”, characterized by low adoption and high euthanasia rates of black pets. In fact, black cats are nearly two thirds less likely to be adopted than their more brightly colored compatriots. To boost awareness in the Chicagoland area, Chicago Cat Rescue pulls out all the stops for their annual signature event and hosts an unforgettable evening to celebrate our four-legged black friends in need.

Advance ticket purchase is now available! Your $60 donation provides access to the open bar (Yes, open bar!), dance floor with a deejay keeping it lively all night long, and a special cocktail being designed by The Violet Hour. The ticket price after March 7 is $65. As for dress code, we say “spirited.” We like our supporters just as we do our rescue kitties - however you wanna be!
Adoptable Sydney awaiting forever
